Cosmicly is a free daily space guessing game. Each day brings one mystery from the universe, the same for every player: a planet, moon, star, galaxy, nebula, star cluster, constellation, exoplanet or even a famous spacecraft, from more than 250 objects.
Your first clue is on the screen as soon as you open the page, and each wrong guess or skip reveals another. Clues range from broad hints like its category and where it sits in the sky to sharper ones like its distance, size, brightness, the constellation it's in, who discovered it and how long its name is. Clues are shuffled every day, with broader hints tending to come first and the strongest ones last.
You have six guesses. Solve it on your first guess for 12 points, or 10, 8, 6, 4 or 2 points on later guesses. Stuck early? The optional bonus clue reveals the first letters of its name. It's available during your first three guesses, but it halves that day's score.
Play every day to grow your play streak, solve every day to grow your correct streak, and play seven days in a row for a cycle bonus of 7 points, or 14 if you solved all seven. Your Cosmicly results also count towards your combined Streakly totals and milestone badges. A new cosmic object arrives every day at midnight UTC.
