- Your game progress is saved on your own device, not on our servers.
- There are no accounts. You never need to give us a name, email or password to play.
- If you contact us, we use what you send only to handle your message.
- We never sell your personal information.
- We show ads through Google AdSense, which uses cookies. You're in control, and can opt out of personalised ads.
01Who we are
Streakly ("Streakly", "we", "us" or "our") is a website offering free daily puzzle games. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you visit or play on Streakly, how it's used, and the choices you have. By using Streakly, you agree to this policy alongside our Terms of Use.
02Information we collect
Game progress, stored on your device
Your scores, streaks, guesses and badges are saved using your browser's local storage, on the device you play on. This information stays in your browser and is not sent to us. We can't see it, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Messages you send us
If you use our contact forms, we receive what you choose to share. For feedback, that's your message plus an optional name (we don't ask for an email address). For partnership enquiries and privacy requests, it's your name, email address, message and, if you add them, your organisation and website. Forms are delivered to us by a third-party form service.
Technical information
Like almost every website, our hosting and security providers may automatically record standard technical information when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. It's used to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
We don't ask for, and don't want, sensitive information such as health details or financial information. Please don't include any in your messages.
03Cookies and similar technologies
Streakly doesn't need cookies to run its games; your progress uses local storage instead. However, third-party services we may use, such as advertising or analytics providers, may set cookies or use similar technologies (like device identifiers or pixels) to:
- deliver ads and limit how often you see the same one;
- measure how ads perform and help prevent fraud;
- understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
Where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are used, and you can change your mind at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that clearing all site data will also reset your game progress.
04Advertising
Streakly is free to play, and advertising helps keep it that way. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Streakly and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to Streakly and/or other sites on the internet. These partners handle information under their own privacy policies; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising through industry opt-out tools such as optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. You may still see ads, but they won't be personalised.

06Legal bases
If you're in the UK, the European Economic Area or another place with similar laws, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, for non-essential cookies and personalised ads); our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving Streakly; and taking steps at your request, such as replying to a message you've sent.
07Sharing your information
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We only share it:
- with trusted service providers that help us run Streakly (such as hosting, form delivery, advertising and analytics), who may only use it to provide their services;
- if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Streakly, our players or others;
- with a successor, if Streakly is ever reorganised, merged or transferred, in which case this policy continues to protect your information.
08How long we keep it
Game progress stays on your device until you clear it. Messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted within a reasonable period. Technical logs are kept by our providers for limited periods in line with their own policies.
09Your choices and rights
You're in control. You can clear your game data, block or delete cookies, and opt out of personalised ads at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the UK and EU, privacy laws in US states such as California, or the Privacy Act in Australia), you may also have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw your consent;
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, where those terms apply;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, please use the Partnerships & requests form on our contact page and choose "Privacy or data request", so we can reply by email. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. Because game progress is stored only on your device, we can't access, restore or delete it for you, but you can clear it yourself at any time.
10Children's privacy
Streakly is family-friendly and made for a general audience, but it isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children through our contact forms. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
11Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we keep the information we hold to a minimum.
12International visitors
Streakly is available worldwide, and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used to protect it.
13Links to other websites
Streakly may link to other websites. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so we recommend reading their policies.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example as Streakly grows or the law changes. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll make it clear on the site.
